meet our team

The team at Grace is composed of church staff, our deacon board and

a host of amazing members, volunteers, and regularly attenders. We are here to serve you.

  • Senior Pastor, Dave Bochtler

Dave has been pastoring in the Lewiston/Auburn area since 1995. He is originally from South Florida and despite their record, still loves the Miami Dolphins. Dave graduated from the University of Maine in 1985 and nine years later, he felt led to pastor a congregation. Dave began distant learning from Dallas Theological Seminary and hosting a small group in his basement. This was just the beginning of a lifelong journey to expand the Kingdom of God through the local church. He lives in Turner with his wife Kim and has 4 adult children. He loves coaching, duck hunting, and golf. Contact Dave at AWTOZERFAN@AOL.COM.

  • Administrative Pastor, Chris Abbruzzese

Chris is the voice of reason for the executive team providing business and operational support to the church members, and the other Pastoral Staff. Chris manages the church finances, building, and website alongside lots of talented church volunteers. He is from Massachusetts originally and came to Grace after a 16-year stint in beautiful, tropical Peoria, IL. He lives in Turner with his wife Kate and together they own a cattle and sheep farm and food truck. Contact Chris at
